Transformation isn't a project anymore

For decades, companies changed in big, expensive leaps. AI-native companies change every day. Here's what that takes.

For most of the last 30 years, transformation has been an event. A company outgrows its systems. It hires an advisor, picks a platform, signs an integrator and spends months, often years, on the rollout. Then it lives with the result until the next one.

That model is ending.

The problem with leaps

Big-bang transformations are expensive and risky. Gartner predicts that by 2027, more than 70% of recently implemented ERP initiatives will fail to fully meet their original business goals.

The deeper problem isn't the failure rate, though. It's what happens after go-live. The knowledge that made the program work scatters into slide decks, spreadsheets and people's heads: why a process was designed a certain way, what was decided and who owns what. The organization starts forgetting itself the day the project ends, so the next one starts from scratch.

What AI-native companies do differently

AI-native companies don't transform through occasional, long-running programs. They understand and improve themselves continuously, making small changes all the time with full context on how the business runs.

That only works when three things are true:

  • The organization can see itself. Its systems, processes, owners and data live in one model that stays current, not in a diagram from the last consulting engagement.

  • Knowledge is connected. Conversations, documents, decisions and operational data live together, so anyone, a person or an AI agent, can find what they need.

  • People and AI can act safely together. Agents work from real context, with a record of what changed and who approved it.

Get those right and a company can adapt at the speed of intent.

Our mission

That's why we built Transform. Our mission is to give every organization the intelligence and agency to continuously transform itself.

Transform is the enterprise AI platform that connects company knowledge, systems, conversations and operational data, so people and AI teammates can understand the business and get work done.

At its core is the Blueprint, a structured model of how the business runs. AI teammates work from the Blueprint and the live work, not from a blank prompt. Requirements, plans, tests and decisions are generated from it and stay linked. You author once, and everything downstream stays connected.

Why we started with the hardest problem

Transform was born inside ERP and enterprise implementations, the most complex and highest-stakes changes a company makes. If a platform can keep an ERP program connected from the first workshop through go-live and support, it can keep the business connected afterward.

That heritage is our advantage. Many tools start with one slice of the work: notes from a meeting, a map of current processes or a task board. Transform starts with the whole program and keeps it as the organization's system of record.

What it means for partners

Enterprises rarely transform alone. Advisors evaluate and integrators deliver. When all of them work on the same platform as the enterprise, nothing is lost at the handoff.

The advisor's business case carries into delivery. The integrator's work becomes the client's lasting knowledge instead of a deliverable that sits on a shelf. Partners spend less time re-creating context and more time on the work only they can do.

What this looks like in practice

Picture a finance team a year after its ERP go-live. A new tax rule lands, and the controller needs to change how invoices are approved.

In the old model, that starts with archaeology: digging through decks to find out why approvals work the way they do and who signed off. With a living record, the answer is already there. The original decision, the requirement it created, the configuration behind it and the tests that prove it are all linked. The team sees what the change touches before anyone touches the system, and the change becomes part of the record for whoever comes next.

That's continuous transformation day to day. Not a new program, just the next small, well-informed change.

The end of starting over

The next decade won't reward the companies that run the biggest transformation. It will reward the ones that never have to start over.

That's the future we're building: a world where every person and AI teammate can understand the organization around them, find the knowledge they need and act together safely to keep improving the business.
